ZAGARA

NOWADAYS

Around the year 2010 Zagara stepped into his figurative period. This is characterized by
a classical and realistic approach of translating the world, as he sees and feels it.
At first sight it appears that with his work he switched from one side to the other from abstract conceptual to figurative realistic [see J –Previous–] but the things Zagara believes in are still the same, it is only the outward form that changed.
Concepts like tension, inner-outer form, matter-of-course assumption and Shibumi are still strong sources of inspiration for Zagara.
